
Air Movement for Energy - Efficient Comfort in Conditioned Spaces
OVERVIEW
This session unpacks how elevated air speed can dramatically enhance thermal comfort while reducing HVAC loads, embodied energy, and operational costs. From minimising ductwork to reducing stratification in winter, we'll explore how fan-assisted airflow can support passive design, improve air quality, and help design professionals achieve energy efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability targets in both new builds and retrofits.
