It’s our first architectural networking event in Tasmania: an evening where architects, interior designers and building product suppliers come together to discover new materials, share ideas and make meaningful connections.

No interstate flights. No full day away from the studio. Just two hours to discover new products, meet the people behind them and connect with Tasmania’s architecture and design community.

Tasmania, You’ve Got Our Attention

From the sandstone warehouses of Salamanca Place to the bold contemporary forms of MONA, Tasmania’s built environment reflects a conversation between its history, natural surroundings and contemporary design.

One of the interesting challenges in architecture is creating buildings that respond to their surroundings while meeting the demands of modern living. Material choices play an important role in that balance, influencing everything from how natural light moves through a space to how a building connects with its landscape.

The work of local practices offers some great examples. Room 11’s The Glass House and Bence Mulcahy’s The Greenhouse offer different approaches to the relationship between architecture, setting and contemporary living.

For architects and designers, these projects are a reminder that material selection isn’t simply about appearance. The right surface, finish or material can influence how a space feels, how it functions and how people experience it.

We think Tasmania’s design community deserves more opportunities to discover what’s available, exchange ideas and connect directly with the suppliers behind the products shaping their projects.

That’s why we’re in Hobart this week.

The Products Come to You

Staying across new materials, emerging technologies and product developments takes time.

And when you’re based outside Australia’s larger industry hubs, seeing the latest products can mean adding interstate travel to an already busy schedule.

So we’re bringing the products to Hobart instead.

The-Arc RADIANT gives you the chance to explore physical samples, compare finishes and speak directly with the people who know their products best, all in one place.

Sometimes a product you hadn’t planned to use becomes the starting point for a new idea. A different surface might solve a design challenge, a finish might complement a material already specified, or a conversation with a supplier might reveal an application you hadn’t considered.

Whether you’re working across residential, commercial, hospitality, education or community projects, the evening is a chance to expand your material knowledge and take fresh ideas back to your next project.

Set aside two hours on Wednesday evening to explore, ask questions and connect with people across the industry.

Your invitation is waiting: Register to attend RADIANT Hobart.

One Room. One Night. Plenty to Talk About.

Some of the most valuable ideas start with a conversation. A new material catches your eye, a supplier introduces a different approach, or a connection opens the door to something you hadn’t considered for a project.

The-Arc RADIANT is about creating more of those moments, bringing Tasmania’s architects, designers and building product suppliers together in one place, without the need to travel interstate.

This Wednesday, we’re bringing RADIANT to Hobart for the first time. Whether you’re looking for fresh inspiration, new industry connections or a new market for your products, we’d love you to be part of the evening.
